The Foothill College Sunnyvale Center wanted to advertise to working professionals who may be interested in building particular skills or taking a class for fun. The list of classes advertised was very diverse, so we came up with a campaign titled "What Are You Looking For?" The message was that whatever you may be looking to do (learn guitar, finance, Japanese, etc.), the Sunnyvale Center has it.

 

It was important to incorporate the center's building and "blue box", as this is a defining feature that can be recognized from the highway. I decided to illustrate a girl looking through binoculars to accompany the messaging. I first drew the girl by hand, and then used Adobe Illustrator to create a vector image. This illustration was then used on bus ads and other various marketing materials, so it was important to create vector images that could be easily scaled.
